Attention Frostproof Residents!

The City of Frostproof will have an election on April 1, 2025 for two City Councilmembers.

No early voting will be held for this election.

City residents must vote by mail or in person on Election Day. Call (863) 534-5888 or visit https://www.polkelections.com/Mail-in-Ballot-Request-Form to request a mail ballot. Vote by mail voters will need to reregister with the Supervisor of Elections each year in order to receive a mail in ballot.

Election Day: April 1, 2025

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Election Day Polling Place: First Baptist Church of Frostproof

Notice is hereby given that the City of Frostproof will hold a Regular Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., for the election of two City Council members.

CITY COUNCIL SEAT 1 – three-year term

CITY COUNCIL SEAT 3– one-year term

The qualifying period begins Monday, February 10, 2025, at 12:00 Noon and ends on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at City Hall, 111 West First Street, Frostproof.

To become a candidate, you must be a registered voter in Polk County, a qualified elector in the City of Frostproof and a resident of the City of Frostproof.  Seat 1 is for a three-year term and Seat 3 is for a one-year term.

La ciudad de Frostproof realizará una ELECCION MUNICIPAL REGULAR el martes 2
de abril de 2025 entre las horas 7:00 a.m. a 7:00 p.m. para elegir a dos miembros del
consejo de la ciudad.

CONSEJO DE LA MUNICIPALIDAD – Puesto 1 – periodo de tres años

CONSEJO DE LA MUNICIPALIDAD – Puesto 3 – periodo de uno años

El periodo clasificatorio comienza el lunes 10 de febrero de 2025 a las 12:00 del
mediodía y termina el viernes 14 de febrero de 2025 al mediodía en el municipio de
Frostproof, 111 West First Street, Frostproof, Florida.

Si quiere ser candidato, debe registrarse como votante en el condado de Polk, debe ser
un elector clasificado en la ciudad de Frostproof y debe ser residente de la ciudad de
Frostproof. El puesto 1 es por un período de tres años y el asiento 3 es por un período
de un año.
